emits BENZENE, a Cancer-causing toxin(carcinogen- take note of the heated plastic smell in your car).

In addition to causing cancer,
it poisons your bones,
causes anemia,
and reduces white blood cells.
Prolonged exposure will cause Leukemia,
increasing the risk of cancer,
may also cause miscarriage. Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft.

Most of us, the male of the species anyway, at some point develop a fascination with firearms. For some of us, this interest starts when we are toddlers and continues through adulthood. I cannot count the number of bank robbers that have met their end in my parent's backyard or the number of times I have saved the world from the Nazis. Boys will be boys and boys do love their toys.As father time advances the clock, our backyard begins to get smaller, bang-bang looses it's power and so does our imagination. At this point in our lives we may bounce around playing organized sports, video games, or action pursuit sports. For a fortunate few, they will discovery an obscure but growing activity known as airsoft.Airsoft will transport you to a time when your backyard was an adventure and it was acceptable to pretend. The look, feel, and performance of airsoft guns will make anyone interested in firearms or the military stop and take notice. Some of the airsoft guns are externally identical to their real steel counterpart, down to their weights and markings, and their resemblance is not by accident. Airsoft was created to fulfill the needs of a gun enthusiast population in a country where real firearms are not permitted, namely Japan.The variety of airsoft guns is mind numbing. There is an airsoft gun to fit any enthusiast tastes, from the days of Billy the Kid to the movie Aliens. You may see airsoft guns used as props in the television and film industry, at your favorite convention (Sci-Fi or Comicon), or at costume parties. Airsoft guns are sought after as much for their looks as for their functionality.Military simulation is what really makes people passionate about airsoft. There are a variety of options in the action pursuit realm, but airsoft offers the best choices in performance and realism. Most airsoft gun owners use their airsoft guns in a game similar to paintball. The actual game is simply referred to as "airsoft."
The simularity between airsoft and paintball has sparked a rivalry -- which is better, airsoft or paintball?
So what are you doing on an airsoft site if you want to know which is better? Well, the truth is airsoft actually has many downsides as does paintball. For enthusiastic players of either sport the downsides are merely an inconvenience.
I have played paintball before, but never seriously or at a competitive level. I have, however, heard many former paintball players badmouth paintball after they discovered just how much fun playing airsoft is.
Airsoft isn't for everyone. For these players, clearly airsoft beat paintball by a wide margin. In this article, Airsoft vs Paintball, I'll present an honest opinion as well as a look at the downsides and advantages of both paintball and airsoft.

The cost difference between Airsoft and Paintball
First, and most importantly to many people, is cost. As I discussed in the article, Is Airsoft Cheap?, airsoft is relatively inexpensive. The amount you spend on airsoft can be scaled up or down depending how much you enjoy the sport.
Most importantly, people with $1500 of equipment will only have a small advantage over someone with a $300 gun -- in most cases they will have no advantage.
The ranges of the costs of paintball can be quite dynamic as well. Entry level paintball guns can be purchased for a couple hundred dollars. When you get into competitive level paintball expect to be pay $1000+ for your gun. If you can't afford a good paintball gun you can't expect to play this sport with very much success on a competitive level.
Paintballs are also quite expensive, especially in relationship to airsoft bb's. It is not unusual for a paintball player to go through $50 worth of paintballs in a day. A bag of 3000-5000 airsoft bb's (depending on the weight of the bb) costs roughly $20. Some players can go through a bag of bb's in a day. Most don't. It depends entirely on your playing style.
In paintball, the volume of paintballs you send downrange is critical. In airsoft, spray and pray occurs, but it has little impact on gameplay balance. Usually if a player is spraying bbs, they aren't aiming -- or hitting.
There have been several games where I have fired perhaps no more than 30 or 40 BB's all day. On the other hand, I have played plenty of games where I had to refill all 4 of my 300-round capacity magazines during the middle of a round.

Which Airsoft Guns Are the Best?

More and more people are taking up an interest in Airsoft simulations as a hobby. It really can be quite fun. The problem lies on the brand name that are coming from china, where mostly low quality Airsoft guns are sold. Any true Airsoft player will tell you to stay away from these and invest in a quality Airsoft rifle or sub. There are so many out there and where do I start!? Should I get a rifle? a pistol? Is the sniper rifle any good?
These are questions I had when I went shopping online for Airsoft guns. There are so many options, and of course the picture of the item looks intriguing... but does it shoot accurately? Does it shoot far? How long do the batteries last?
Firstly, I think all serious Airsofters should carry a pistol and another gun. The other gun could be a sniper rifle, or a standard rifle or sub machine gun. The preference here should lie to two places. You should consider the weight of the gun, and you should consider the length of the barrel, which will ultimately determine the accuracy of the gun.
Sniper rifles are obviously very accurate, however they can be somewhat heavy and bulky to carry around, because of situations like this, you need to decide what role you want to play on the field. Do you want to pick off foes from a distance, or provide cover fire for your teammates? Do you want to be the one that guards a particular objective? Deciding on one of these roles can help to determine if you need a rifle or even a shotgun (yea they are good!). I recommend the G3 Airsoft rifle or the M4 Airsoft rifle, both of these are medium sized weapons that have a great balance of weight and accuracy.
DO NOT FORGET: You need to protect your eyes! ALWAYS wear eye and ear protection when participating in an Airsoft simulation. Airsoft is great fun, but not worth losing an eye

This Airsoft gun fires when motion is detected. It fires for about two seconds, which is quite a few pellets from a full auto gun.

We are often asked if airsoft is just a guy’s sport. While the majority of airsoft players are men, it is defnitely a sport women and girls can enjoy. It’s easy to quickly dismis airsoft as violent or dangerous, but that isn’t true. Airsoft teaches women planning, strategy, skill, patience, and a reliance on your teammates like no other sport out there. Additionally, the safety equipment required for airsoft makes it very safe, and airsoft BB hits are less painful than paintball. Many women who participate in this sport realize that it’s great for both sexes. In fact, many of the women airsoft players surprise their male opponents as women tend to be more agile and stealthy than men; a serious advantage in airsoft skirmishes. Another benefit of Airsoft for women, is the development of true athleticism and physical endurance. Airsoft players will run, jump, duck, and whatever is necessary to outmaneuver the opponent. It’s a great way to get physical exercise as opposed to running on a treadmill in the gym. Airsoft will work muscles you never knew you had. Airsoft will get you into shape quickly! This side of the airsoft skirmish appeals too many of its players, women and men alike. Many women who don’t understand airsoft assume that it’s some kind of violent battle between two teams that are just trying to blast each other with plastic BBs, but this isn’t true at all. Whether it is men or women playing airsoft, most games are played around a scenario or objective that needs to be met. Careful planning is necessary amongst team members to capture a flag or objective without being shot or captured. All the while avoiding airsoft traps, ambushes, snipers, etc. Strategy and teamwork are of utmost importance as you work to move your team forward, or to set up someone from an opposing team. Many teams competing together week after week build solid communications and pull together as one unit. In this way, airsoft will teach that you are a valued member of a team. This type of camaraderie builds self-esteem and confidence.
